

Without the LUT, most forces will either be too strong or too weak, depending on the wheel mechanism and not accurate to the simulation. A simulator like BeamNG.drive or Assetto Corsa can use that data to send a calibrated force to the wheel to make it move the intended amount based on the physics simulation.
